The California Library Association (CLA), in partnership with Bay Area Young Adult Librarians (BAYA) and the Youth Services Interest Group (YSIG), is now accepting nominations for the CLA Young Adult Services Award.
This award honors an outstanding library professional who has made a meaningful impact on Young Adult Services (grades 6–12). The winner receives:
- $500 award
- One-year BAYA membership
- Reimbursement for one-year CLA membership
- Recognition at the CLA Annual Conference
Who Can Be Nominated
- Must have worked in a California library for the full year
- Submit a nomination statement and letter of recommendation
- Nominees do not need to be CLA members, but must join to accept the award.
