Parking: There is a free 2 hour parking lot behind the Alameda Free Library. You can enter the parking lot from Lincoln Avenue. There is also metered street parking and free street parking on streets lining the library.
Public Transit: The library is one block from an AC Transit Bus Stop. Take the 51A Rockridge from Fruitvale BART and get off at the Santa Clara/Oak Stop. There is no BART station in Alameda.
How to Enter the Building: The library will be closed until noon that day, so you will enter through the back door that is accessible through the back parking lot. We will have signs on the back of the library and the gray metal door will be propped open. When you get through the first door, go to the small hallway and turn right. Then you’ll be in the library cafe and you’ll see the meeting room.
