We’ll start the day with a Teen Writing Workshop led by novelist Arriel Vinson, opens a new window, followed by a keynote address by author Don Martin. The convention will include a Q&A session and three engaging panel discussions exploring topics connected to this year’s theme, Fantasy vs. Reality: Escape into Fiction. YANovCon will conclude with author book signings. Books will be available to purchase on-site thanks to our wonderful partnership with Linden Tree Books, opens a new window.
Several of novelists attending wrote books last year that won national award recognition during the Youth Media Awards.
A Bay Area Young Adult Librarian representative will be on-site to promote BAYA and hand out ARCs and books written by some of the authors to teens and YA readers of all ages.
Hope you can join BAYA at YA Nov Con 2026!
